School Settings - Modifying Non-Prescription Medication Text

Modified on Tue, 07 Dec 2021 at 04:48 PM

The non-prescription medication question is asked of parents during the profile update. By default, it is a single statement that parents can tick to authorise the provision of non-prescription medication for their child while under the school's care or leave unticked to refuse provision of non-prescription medication by the school.

Some schools have a preferred non-prescription medication statement that they would like to use in Consent2Go.

Follow these steps to change the statement wording:

  1. Click the cogwheel in the top right of your screen.
  2. Click School Settings.
  3. Click the Registration tab. Here you can view and edit the wording for various aspects of Consent2Go. The third heading down on the page should be “Student Profile Update Paracetamol Text”; this is the non-prescription medication question.
  4. Delete the current wording.
  5. Enter your preferred text, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Save.

Additionally, there is an option to change the non-prescription medication question from a single statement to an extended statement with four options for parents. This allows parents to indicate if they consent to all or just some of the four options. The options are:

  • Paracetamol
  • Ibuprofen
  • Anti-Histamine
  • Anti-Inflammatory

If you would like to change the non-prescription medication question to the extended statement for your school, or remove it completely from the profile update, please contact the Consent2Go Support Team to set up some additional configurations.
