This article will provide an overview of the Staff App
Introduction
The Consent2Go for Staff app is a digital solution that brings together key information for student care and event management. The app is linked to your school Consent2Go account and ensures that you have current information available on your mobile device when and where you need it.
Downloading the App
To Download the Consent2Go App for Staff, open the App or Google Play Store (Depending on your device). Search for “Consent2Go App for Staff” to find our app. It will have the below icon:
Logging in to the App
The Consent2Go Staff App follows the same login process as the web-based version. This means you can use the same email and password as you normally would to access Consent2Go. If your school uses “Single Sign On” the app will automatically redirect you to sign in via this process.
Event/Activities Tab
This is where all your upcoming events/activities are listed. There are two conditions that determine whether you will see the event/activity in the app:
- You must be part of the 'Supervisory Team' of the event
- It must be at least 72hrs prior to the event date
Events will only appear in the app 3 days before the scheduled start date of the event/excursion and will be removed from the app 1 day after the scheduled end date of the event/excursion.
Through this section of the app staff can view and action the following:
- Event Details
- Location
- Arrival and Departure Times
- People/Staff Involved
- Activities
- Student Details
- Contact (Guardian and Emergency)
- Medical Details
- Permissions (Photo, OTC Medication)
- Send Messages
- Mark Attendance
- View Student Care/Action Plans
Groups Tab
This section shows any teams or groups you may be associated with. If you are assigned as a coach or a supervisor you will be able to see a list of your teams/groups. By selecting the team/group, you can view a list of the students involved. Within this list, you can view the student’s information, including medical/contact or permissions.
You are also able to send messages to the students, parents and staff associated to your team.
Nurse Mode
From the settings tab, you can switch your account into Nurse Mode, with the relevant user access. This will present you with a list of all students within the school, with the ability to locate specific students via the search bar.
Once you open a student’s profile, you will be presented with three tabs of information:
- Details - an overview of the students care details, including permissions and non-medical dietary requirements.
- Contact - parent/guardian and emergency contact details
- Medical - all medical information recorded in consent2go, including action plans
App Settings
From the settings tab, you are able to action the below:
- Change to Nurse Mode (with the relevant user access)
- Report an issue by sending an email to our support team
- View the current version of the app
- Read our privacy policy
- Logout
