How to Mark Attendance within Consent2Go Events

This article will provide instructions on how to mark attendance for events

Introduction

Attendance can be marked in both the web-based version of Consent2Go, and the Staff App.

Marking attendance in the Staff App will update the event automatically, and trigger a notification to subscribed staff.

How to Mark Attendance in the Web-Based version

Attendance can be marked within planned events, in tab 5. (Attendance) within the event. To access, search for the event and click on the event name to open. In the Attendance view, students will be visible in one of three coloured boxes:

• Green for those with consent from parents, 
• Red for those who do not have consent to attend,
• and Grey for those with no response from parents.

To mark the attendance, locate the relevant student's tile and click the top right corner. A tick will appear, indicating that the attendance has been marked.

How to Mark Attendance in the Staff App

On the day of the event, staff who are nominated as Supervisors for the event will see the event within the Consent2Go for Staff App.

Click on the Students button, to see students invited to the event.

Use the Mark Attendance button on the student list to open up the attendance marking view.  

Mark off each student in attendance, or use the Select All circle to mark all students present, remembering to unmark any individual absences. 

Submit the attendance record to the school administration by selecting Finalise from the bottom of the attendance view. 

Attendance Report

A summary of attendance can be extracted once attendance has been recorded, by downloading the excel summary document. Marked attendance is seen in column J of the downloaded spreadsheet for students with consent to participate.
