This article will provide an overview of how to grant specific staff members with additional access to their assigned role
Introduction
When a user is added into Consent2Go, they are assigned a user role. With this, they are granted access to a predetermined set of areas in the system.
For example, the Events and Excursion User Role will give staff access to create events and manage student groups.
Granting Additional Privileges
If a staff member has a role at the school that requires additional access to their predetermined role, this can be added to their user by following the steps below:
- Select the '>' beside the Staff tab, and open the System Users tab
- Locate the relevant staff member using the search bar
- Select the purple Edit icon to the right of their record
- Click the "Specific Additional Privileges" button to open the access options
- Scroll to the area you would like to grant them permission to, and tick the boxes as required.
For example, you might want to give a Risk and Compliance officer the ability to manage the risk settings, so you tick "Manage Event Parameters" toward the bottom of the page:
Or you might want to give a nurse the ability to view student medical information within our Staff App, so you tick "Consent2Go App Nurse Mode": - Once you have completed the above, scroll back to the top and click save.
