This article will provide steps on how to customise your school's profile updates
Introduction
Profile Updates are used by school's to collect the most up to date information for student's and their families.
There are a variety of questions and options available for the profile update, which can be turned on or off to suit school requirements.
Schools also have the ability to customise the text, and overall appearance of these updates - so that they are familiar for families.
Personalising the Appearance
To personalise the appearance of a student profile update. Navigate to the cogwheel, then select the School Settings tab. From here, click ‘Colour Themes’.
From this tab, you can alter the colour scheme used for your school’s profile update. It will display an example for review as you find the best options to suit your schools branding.
You can change many of the styling aspects such as:
- The Header & Progress bar
- Button & Checkbox
- Text colour, fonts, and sizes
We recommend you take the time to explore these options and personalise your profile updates to your school.
Setting Up the Questions
There is a variety of questions that can be asked through a student profile update. Some of these are pre-set in the Onboarding phase but can be toggled on or off as required by the school. To view these questions, navigate to the cog wheel, then select ‘System Settings’ then ‘System Parameters’, once there scroll down to view the list of questions.
Altering the Text
There are a variety of questions and statements available within the Profile Update, some of which can be customised by the school.
To view and alter the text used in your profile updates, navigate to the cogwheel, then select the School Settings tab. From here, click ‘Registration’.
From here, you can review the wording used in different sections of the profile updates. This will be prefilled in the onboarding process but are able to be fully customised to suit your school.
