Modified on Mon, 13 Oct at 8:26 AM

This article will provide instructions on how to change the previously selected approval stream within an event

Changing the Approval Stream

If an incorrect approval stream was selected during the proposal phase, this can be updated. Both the event organiser, and event approver have the ability to do this. See the instructions below for each user.

Please note this will be actioned in the Proposal tab:

Event Organiser

If you are the organiser, follow the steps below:

  1. Locate your event, and open the Proposal tab.
  2. Scroll to the very bottom, and select "Save"
  3. A pop-up will appear, confirming that you would like to reset the approval. Select "Confirm and Reset Approval"
  4. This will take you back to the event list, open your event proposal again and scroll back to the bottom of the page.
  5. Select the new approval stream to be used, then select "Save and Begin Approval"

Event Approver

If you are the approver, you may use the steps above. However, if you would like to reject the approval and provide a note back to the organiser follow the steps below:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Proposal to the "Approval Section", and select the red 'X' to reject the current approval:

  2. The below pop-up will appear, in this box enter the reason for the current rejection. For example, 'Changing Approver' or 'Updated Approval Stream Information.", then select 'Confirm':
Once rejected, the status of the current approval will be rejected, allowing you to choose a different stream.
  3. To do this, reset the current list by clicking the  Approval Stream box and choosing "Select Approval Stream"
  4. Once the list has been reset, repeat the step above and select the correct approval stream. When ready, select "Save and Begin Approval".
