How to Identify Event's Pending Approval

Modified on Tue, 14 Oct at 9:59 AM

This article will provide instructions on how to identify which events are pending your approval

Introduction

There are two stages of approval for an event within Consent2Go; Proposal and Planning. When the organiser is creating their event, they start at the Proposal - send for approval, then move on to Planning. Once the Planning is complete, the final approval is given before the invitations are sent.

How to Identify Which Event is Pending Approval

Within the Event List, there is a filter titled "All Stages". This provides the option to shrink the events to those "Awaiting Approval":

With this filter applies, the event list will shrink to just those events that have been sent to the approval team.

You can identify which phase the event is at, by looking for the "Pending Approval" Icon.

For Example, this event is awaiting the Proposal to be approved:

This event has had the Proposal approved, and is now pending on Planning:

If an event has had the Proposal approved, but the organiser is not yet finished the Planning, it will appear like so:

Or if the organiser has just started, and not sent either phase off for approval, no icons will show:

Notification Bell

In addition to the filters and icons discussed above, approvers will see a bell icon appear at the top right of their page if there is an event awaiting their approval:

Clicking this notification will open the event to the relevant approval phase.
