Managing Students in an Active Event

This article will provide an overview of how to manage students within your event


Introduction

Student management is done mainly within the 5. Attendance tab of the active event. 

From this tab you will be able to do the following:

  • Monitor consent responses (no response, attending, not attending & no invites sent)
  • Resend invites to individual students
  • Cancel invites
  • Manually mark attendance
  • Download forms
  • Issue reminders
  • Send messages

Monitor Responses

Toward the top of this page, there is a colour key indicating how many students are set as "No Response", "Attending" or "Not Attending":

Resend Invitations to Individual Students

To action this, select the students tile within the 5. Attendance page and click the "Resend Invite" button to the bottom left of the pop-up.


Cancel Invitations

To cancel a students invitation, click their tile and select "Invitation Actions". From here, select "Cancel Invitation":

Manually Mark Attendance

To set a student are attending on behalf of the parent, select "Invitation Actions" and choose "Approve as Attending". Enter a note explaining why this has been manually marked.

Download Forms

Within this section, there is a forms option that provides a list of pre-set forms that are relevant to your event and students. Select this to view the options, and download as required:


Issue Reminders

If you need to follow-up with parent's that have not responded to an invitation, select the Message button and choose "Reminders" from the options.

Send Message

To send custom emails to participants or parents within the event, click the Message button and choose "Send Message".

 This will allow you to input a subject line, email contain and attach any documents that may be required.
