Photo Permissions Options

This article will discuss the different options for Photo Permissions in Consent2Go


Introduction

There are two options for photo permissions Consent2Go:

  1. Single Question
  2. Extended Question

Single

The Single option gives the parent/guardians one Yes or No option when granting or denying permission for their child.


This then appears as a single tick box on the student's profile:


Extended

The Extended option breaks the permission into three separate questions that can be individually opted into. These options include Promotional Material, Online Material and Print Material.

This then splits the permission fields into three on the student's profile:


Customising the Question

The text that appears above the Yes/No toggles can be edited by the school, to suit your requirements. 

To change this wording, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click the cogwheel at the top right, and open the School Settings tab

  2. From here, go to the Registration tab
  3. Locate the "Student Profile Photo Use Authorised Text" field, and edit the wording as needed
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click save when ready.


Please note this field has a character limit of 1,400 characters.
