Events - Sending Invites

This article will provide you with the steps you can take to send student invites for your event

*Please note, if these options do not appear for you - you may not have permission to send invites. Please contact your admin support team for assistance with this*


Sending Event Invites:

Follow the steps below to view the event and issue invitations to students:

  1. Select the 'Events' tab in the left-hand menu:

  2. Find your event in the list by using the filter options at the top, or scrolling through the list:
  3. If available, select the 'Send Invites' button to the right of the event
  4. If this option is not available, click into the event and navigate to the 5. Attendance tab
  5. In this tab, the students will appear within an olive green box, and the option to 'send invites' will appear at the right of the screen.
  6. A pop-up will display requesting you to confirm that you are ready to issue the invitations. It will also notify you of how many are going to be sent:
  7. Once confirmed, the invites will be sent and the students will move to a greyed out box and listed as 'No Response'. 

Event Specific Communication Log:

Each event has a Communication Log attached, so you can view any outgoing initiations or messages to parents/guardians. To view this, select the megaphone icon to the right of the management view:

From here, you can see if any communication attempts have failed, and can view the timestamp of each message sent associated with the event.
