Overview:
In the Planning stage of an event, when trying to enter Activities, if the Region dropdown box keeps appearing (with no choice available) this indicates that there is a problem with the Region.
Check that the dates appearing in the box and those that appear when you Edit the Region are the same - if there is any difference, you will see the dropdown box in Activities.
This can appear in events that have been duplicated, or had the dates altered (moved dates or extended after the proposal phase).
