This article will guide you through how to verify a medical document on a student's record

*Please note, you will require administrator privileges to complete this process.*

Student Medical Documents within Consent2Go:

There are two types of documents that can be captured within a student's medical condition:

  1. Condition Action Plans
  2. Medication Plans

These can be uploaded by the Parents/Guardians via a Student Profile Update, or by admin staff directly to the record. Once these are uploaded, they can be verified to ensure they are accurate and relevant.

This guide will walk you through the steps of viewing and verifying these documents, as well as what happens when a document is rejected.

How to Verify a Document:

To view the student's documents, follow the steps below.

  1. From the student list, select the 'Actions' button to the far right, and click 'Edit' from the drop down box.
  2. Select the 'Medical Details' tab from the top row.
  3. Find the relevant condition and select 'Click to Edit'.
  4. Scroll down to the 'Condition Management Documents / Action Plan' section.
  5. From here, you can see any documents awaiting verification. Select 'Verify' to open the document for review. If it is a Word document, there will be no preview. However, you can select 'Download' to save a copy to your computer.
  6. If the document is accurate, select 'Approve'.
  7. This will change the verification status to 'Verified'

Rejecting a Document:

Please follow the same steps as above but select 'Reject' instead.

Rejecting a document will remove it from the student's record. You will then need to send the student a Profile Update to prompt the parent or guardian to reupload.
