This article will provide an overview of the Communication Log Function
Introduction
All emails and SMS notifications are stored within the Communication Log, so that staff can keep track of all contact to families or staff through Consent2Go.
This log can also be used to identify communications that may have failed to send and allows staff the opportunity to contact the parent and get new contact details from them.
Viewing the Communication Log
This feature is located under the Administration tab in the left menu.
The communication log also allows staff to search for all communication sent to a particular student, parent or event, or communications sent on a particular date or date range.
Communication Dashboard
Within this tab there is the Communication Dashboard, which shows all failed emails or SMS sent to parent's.
The red envelope indicates that this email failed to send, and an error will display outlining the issue.
This could be a result of an incorrect email on file, a blocked email domain or full inbox.
If needed, review the parent's profile and update the details as required.
